Serpentine Breastplate Necklace
35mm High
80mm Wide
10mm Deep
This breastplate has been carved out of a beautiful piece of NZ Serpentine pounamu and showcases very different patterns either side making it a reversible depending on your mood. The breastplate is often thought to be a symbol of resilience and protection. However, this said, it’s my belief that the wearer should cast their own intentions on the taonga based on their needs. All these treasures are a source of peace, mana and connection that uplift your mauri. They are also amazing sensory tools to feel or hold in tough times.
All taonga I carve comes with a 100% organic cotton bag to keep it safe when not wearing.
*Note: This pounamu is authentic Aotearoa kōhatu and has been correctly sourced through acclaimed local Ōtautahi artist/carver; Jon Jeet—founder of the community initiative; Tūhono Taonga, Tūhono Tāngata. This cause helps empower and connect the local community through toi and Mātauranga Māori.
